At the conference, there was presented the interpretation of the law about Traditional Chinese Medicine, and also there were lectures of the famous doctors, concerning classic tractates of TCM. Well-known specialist in pulse diagnostics were making their reports, and also there were discussed questions, concerning the choosing and promoting of the special and new technologies in the TCM field.
In the conference took part the workers and specialists of medical education from researching and manufacturing institutions, qualified TCM specialists, the patent holders of TCM, medico-sanitary staff from all over China.
Professor Xu Mingtang, the successor of Bien Chue School, and the air of doctor Bien Chue’s pulse diagnostic, the founder of Chinese Image Medicine, was invited to take part in the conference as a main speaker and a guest. Xu Mingtang made a report “Bien Chue’s Pulse Diagnostic. The theory of three pulse levels: the beating, qi and the image of the pulse”.
He told about the pulse diagnostic in Bien Chue School and about three levels of the pulse.
The beating of the pulse means the identification of the pulse rhythm using fingertips; qi of the pulse – the identification of the pulse qi quality (cold, cool, neutral, warm, hot) using three fingers; the image of the pulse – visual identity of the pulse image not with the help of the touching function of fingers’ skin, but directly with the help of the “Mind Eye”.
Professor Xu Mingtang also gave the examples of the treatment of different diseases, and it stirred the great interest of the audience.
